Health and safety

The Group's particular attention to the occupational health and safety topics as an indispensable element for the business success, is witnessed by a number of concrete actions, such as the implementation of constantly updated management and monitoring systems, training initiatives and the overall involvement to raise awareness among employees about health and safety at work, as well as the constant management of plant, machinery and equipment aimed to minimize the employees health and safety risks, by facilitating the prevention of incidents, injuries and occupational diseases.

The Group is committed to protecting the health of its employees through the provision of training courses in order to promote the diffusion of a safety culture at work, and through a number of targeted maintenance interventions of work environments and machineries, aimed to achieve the highest security standards in relation to the risks that employees may be subject to during their work activities.
In all Eldor Group’s plants there is a local department devoted entirely to health and safety issues.

The working environments of each plant are designed in accordance with international standards and regulations on health and safety. The purpose of ensuring working conditions as safe as possible is pursued by caring each aspect: from the safe management of the internal drivability of the plants by vertical and horizontal signage and through the imposition of single-way traffic, up to the implementation of suitable safety devices on machinery used in production areas (barriers, photocells, emergency pushbuttons, closure and confinement of moving organs) to avoid any risk of mechanical nature.
Eldor Group’s plants have emergency management teams, identified for each shift work and suitably trained to intervene in case a fire or other emergency situation occurs.
